Supporting the club

We keep our membership fees low to cover the basic costs of our operations. Most of our revenue comes from individuals’ donations and volunteer hours matched by employers.

Your donations for example allow us to continue organizing games, social and skill-building events by covering their costs. For instance, when we host games and friendlies it is a rugby tradition to offer a group meal to all the kids and volunteers participating at the event thanking them for all their time and effort. As well, part of your donations allows us to provide sponsorship and new opportunities to players and volunteers:

  • continuous rugby education to become a L1 referee or a Level 200-300 coach
  • rugby ID and skills clinics
  • pathway to National Development Centers and colleges’ rugby teams

Volunteering Hours Matching

Please check if your company has a volunteer hours matching program or portal. Look up Panthers Youth Rugby Club when you log in to your donation and volunteer employer matching portal. For instance, our cause is connected to the Benevity causes portal used by many companies such as Microsoft. If your employer uses a portal different than Benevity, let us know and we will do the necessary administrative steps to figure in your employer’s matching program or portal.

We can work with your employer for donations, partnerships, and grants. Do not hesitate to put us in contact with the department or the person within your company in charge of the matter.Your volunteer work and donations help us grow the program.

Panthers Youth Rugby Club is a non-profit 501C3 organization.
