Tips:
- Teams of 4 are the best: 2 adults & 2 players: 1 driver, 1 navigator/supervisor, 2 yard planters!
- Prepare signs (insert metal stances) before or while driving to save time.
- Always try to put a sign where there are other signs – this reduces drastically the chances of the sign being removed. Feel free to skip a location and put 2 signs in some locations where it makes more sense!
- If a Panthers Sign is already there, replant it
- Put the sign away from road and away from pavement. The farther away into lawns, bushes, etc… the less likely cars or pedestrian will remove it
- Never put the sign in front of another sign. Respect other organizations. Put our sign next to others or slightly behind them on the side. Don’t hesitate to put our sign next to other Rugby signs – just be respectful and place our sign on the side or slightly behind, never in front.
- At intersections, pick the best of the 4 corners, the one that most incoming traffic will see best. Put the sign at a 45degree angle so it can be seen from 2 perpendicular directions.
- For schools, make sure to put the sign at the exit, rather than the entrance. Do not put it on the actual school grounds, as it will be systematically removed and we will get a nasty phone call! The best option is facing the exit.
